I'm looking for help

for myself

Affect2U guides you step by step
You are not alone

Maybe now is the time
to stop struggling alone

Why am I unable to process certain situations or traumatic events?
Why do I keep reaching for alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, porn, gaming, or work?
Why does it feel like I've lost control?
Why am I unable to solve this myself?

A lot of people try it alone first.
But sometimes we have to dare to say honestly: I can't do this alone.

And that is not a weakness. That is courage.

Not what's wrong, but what happened

It is not a “problem”

At Affect2U, we don't ask the question: What's wrong with you?
We ask: What happened to you?

Addiction, substance use, depression, burnout or other complaints rarely occur overnight. Often, they have been ways of dealing with pain, loss, trauma, or overwhelm.

Coping strategies that once helped to survive can later become destructive.

Together, we look at the origins. To your history. To the patterns that have arisen from this. Not to judge, but to understand.

With respect for your story

What can you do with us expect?

Take the first step

Asking for help ‍ is a big step

You may be hesitant. Through shame or doubt. Due to previous help that didn't work. We understand that. That's why everything starts with a conversation.

Our case manager listens to your story, answers your questions and works with you to see what's appropriate. You don't have to decide anything yet. Just take the first step.
