Affect2U guides you step by step
Our treatment options

Each process is tailored to your needs.

Our approach combines various therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused therapy and body-centered techniques. We work both top-down (insight and thinking) and bottom-up (nervous system and body), so that recovery can be profound and sustainable.

Treatment can take place on an outpatient or residential basis, in Belgium or abroad.

Admission

A residential stay in a warm, homely environment where you can temporarily distance yourself from your daily context. You will receive intensive guidance in a safe setting, with attention to detox, emotion regulation, trauma and relapse prevention.

Detox

Detox is a medical stabilization that safely removes alcohol or drugs from your body. It is often the first step in substance dependence and focuses on physical safety and reducing withdrawal symptoms. Detox does not treat the underlying causes of addiction, but makes further psychological treatment possible.

Outpatient guidance

Not everyone needs a recording. Outpatient counseling offers individual and/or family sessions on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. Sessions last 60 minutes and can take place physically or online. This way, you get professional support while continuing to function in your own environment.

Extended Care Program

After intensive treatment, the transition to daily life can be vulnerable. The Extended Care Program provides structure, support, and community in this transition phase. We focus on relapse prevention, emotion regulation, routine building, independence and reintegration into work, study and relationships. The program forms the bridge between intensive care and independent living.

Aftercare

Recovery doesn't stop after a recording. With individual sessions, family sessions and weekly aftercare groups, we will continue to support you in daily life. This way, you stay connected and you are not alone, even when things are going well.

Counseling for partners and family

Addiction and mental health issues never affect one person alone. That's why we offer guidance for partners, parents and other loved ones. This can be done together with the client or separately. Family members also have the right to support, insight and recovery.

A trajectory fitted

Everyone starts with an intake interview. From there, we will determine together which route best suits your situation: outpatient, residential, in Belgium or abroad.

Whatever your journey, one thing remains the same: you will be guided with respect, professionalism and real commitment.
