Our approach combines various therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused therapy and body-centered techniques. We work both top-down (insight and thinking) and bottom-up (nervous system and body), so that recovery can be profound and sustainable.
Treatment can take place on an outpatient or residential basis, in Belgium or abroad.
Everyone starts with an intake interview. From there, we will determine together which route best suits your situation: outpatient, residential, in Belgium or abroad.
Whatever your journey, one thing remains the same: you will be guided with respect, professionalism and real commitment.
Not everyone needs detox. Detox is mainly intended for people who are physically dependent on alcohol or drugs and want to quit safely under medical supervision. During an intake, we will check whether detox is necessary in your situation.
The duration of a treatment varies from person to person. Some routes consist of regular outpatient sessions, while residential admissions usually start with a program of approximately 28 days that can be extended.
A treatment always starts with an intake interview. During this conversation, we will listen to your story and together we will see which approach fits best. Based on this, a process that is outpatient or residential can start, depending on your needs.
With outpatient counseling, you live at home and come to therapy by appointment. With residential treatment, you temporarily stay in a treatment center, so that you can distance yourself from your daily environment and work more intensively on recovery.
There are different forms of treatment, depending on the situation and the severity of the symptoms. This can range from outpatient guidance to residential admission. Sometimes detox is the first step, followed by therapy and aftercare to sustainably support recovery.
