Affect2U guides you step by step
Our treatment options

Treatment tailored to your needs

Our approach combines different therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused therapy and body-centred techniques.
We work with both the mind and the body.
This means supporting insight, emotional regulation, nervous-system safety and long-term relapse prevention.

Treatment can take place on an outpatient or residential basis, in Belgium or abroad.

Admission

A residential stay offers a safe, structured environment where you can step away from daily pressures and focus fully on recovery.
You receive intensive support with detox, emotional regulation, trauma work and relapse prevention, depending on what is needed.

RESIDENTIAL ADMISSION

Detox

Detox is a medical stabilization that safely removes alcohol or drugs from your body. It is often the first step in substance dependence and focuses on physical safety and reducing withdrawal symptoms. Detox does not treat the underlying causes of addiction, but makes further psychological treatment possible.

Outpatient care

Not everyone needs an admission . Outpatient counselling offers individual and/or family sessions on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. Sessions last 60 minutes and can take place physically or online. This way, you get professional support while continuing to function in your own environment.

Outpatient care

Extended Care Program

After intensive treatment, the transition to daily life can be vulnerable. The Extended Care Program provides structure, support, and community in this transition phase. We focus on relapse prevention, emotion regulation, routine building, independence and reintegration into work, study and relationships. The program forms the bridge between intensive care and independent living.

Aftercare

Recovery doesn't stop after an admission. With individual sessions, family sessions and weekly aftercare groups, we will continue to support you in daily life. This way, you stay connected and you are not alone, even when things are going well.

Counseling for partners and family

Addiction, trauma and mental health difficulties do not affect only one person. They also affect partners, parents, family members and other loved ones. That is why we offer support for loved ones, either together with the client or separately. Family members also need space to ask questions, understand what is happening, and find support for their own experience.
